The sheer versatility of our structures have been evident this year. As we started the year with our usual events, we were blissfully unaware of what was about to unfold.
In the height of the pandemic we were able to assist the Health Department with field hospitals, and structures that housed macerator units which decontaminated medical waste before it went to landfill.
Now, as we are slowly regaining our semblance of normality, and our scholars are back from home & online learning, it is time for the final exams for matriculants and tertiary students. It’s been a tough year.
We were able to build an exam venue for Bergvliet High School. They have been using this structure for their preliminary exams in the 3rd Term. Now as Term 4 and the final National Exams are around the corner, the marquee will be used to house all the matriculants as they write their finals.
We designed the space to ensure that there is plenty of room to keep the 1.5m distance between each student. The marquee has multiple entry/exit points so there is no need to queue in front of one door. The marquee is also well lit, and ventilated with special mesh window panels.
Its now up to the students to do their utmost to get through this final stretch of their school career. Lets hope 2021 will be a better year.
We wish the class of 2020 strength, courage and faith!
